About the Office of Academic Affairs

Message from the Senior Associate Dean

Faculty talent fuels our medical education program. As faculty of all missions and in all tracks, we represent excellence in aggregate. The goal for this new office is to develop innovative programs to recruit and retain faculty in their various academic roles and to promote resilience, vitality, professional accomplishment and personal satisfaction. I will lead and oversee all activities related to faculty professional development at the medical school and its academic affiliates.

Through collaboration with the RBHS vice chancellor for faculty development we will implement the RWJMS faculty mentoring program. My personal goal is for Academic Affairs to be a valued resource to all faculty, focused on faculty in all academic tracks. Through one on one mentoring, participation in learning communities and engagement in other programming we will work together to help you achieve your professional goals. I commit my accountability to these efforts and welcome communications, feedback and ideas on how we can further advance our faculty. I look forward to working with you all.

Carol A. Terregino, MD
Senior Associate Dean for Education and Academic Affairs
