GHIG Electives

The GHIG Elective consists of approx. 10 events over two semesters, with speakers who have worked in various capacities in global health.  The goal is to inform the student body about current issues in global health, the politics involved in international health work, and information sessions on how and why to use summer elective rotations to do work internationally.

Non-elective credit can be earned by completing the following requirements:

1. Attending 10 hours worth of event between M1 & M2 period.
2. Abroad foreign experience (M1 summer & M4 elective).
3. Poster presentattion and participation at the Global health fair.
